Saw this video shared by Deep Blue Scuba and tears rolled down uncontrollably seeing how those sharks were tortured for their fins. It's so cruel. People, let's do our part. Stop being ignorant about it. Shark fin is in fact TASTELESS. It's the soup base that's tasty. Stop the supply, cease the demand!

Finished reading the book, “Who moved my cheese?” by Spencer Johnson yesterday. It is a self help book that I have wanted to read since ages ago but didn’t.

I find it an interesting story based on very simple logics but yet, many humans fail to understand it. The only thing that is constant in life is Change! Ironically true, isn’t it? Basically, this book is trying to help people adapt to changes more easily because there are a lot others who can never stop lamenting about their own predicament and still chooses to remain stagnant. Changes happen everywhere and anywhere, in a family, at work and even in relationships/friendships. From a high ranking officer to a powerless small fry, from being married to divorced or even dealing with a lost.

To me, the simplest way to adapt to a change is to Face It! I believe one can only overcome the fear when one deals with it face to face. Sometimes, a change is not necessary but at other times, changes are inevitable. Whether a change is positive or negative, it’s more likely and usually based on how one perceives it.

Its good to stay in one’s comfort zone and hopefully everything remains forever the same, but sadly this is impossible. People change, environment change and ultimately, expectation changes.

Saw a few posts in FB expressing their condolences to Mr. Khoo’s family and stumbled upon this news article just minutes ago. I saw him once at Pulau Aur when I was taking my OWD certification course and didn’t stop hearing raves about him since then.

It’s always upsetting to hear news about one’s death.

My heartfelt condolences to Mr. Khoo’s family and friends. It’s definitely a loss to the diving community.
