Went there for IC and CH’s farewell cum welcome dinner 2 years back! Not only did we have an unforgettable time together, the good food we had left a deep impression in GS, SAM and me. Last month, for our favourite DGM’s farewell and also to welcome both MH and IEM, we went there again!
Although I was armed with a camera this time round, I didn’t snap a lot simply because I was drifted away by the aroma of those wonderful dishes served. Savouring them was the first thought that came to my mind and taking pictures was secondary.
Long granny story of introduction cut short; let’s move on to the main dish!
A beer each was the SOP in our division before dinner starts. Shortly after placing each of our orders for Entrée, Main and Dessert since the set menu was not set by the chef yet. Then, the waitress serves us our all time favourite food; Bread! The 3 guys and I couldn’t stop helping ourselves to the fluffily soft homemade bread and by dipping it into the saucer of olive oil spilled with loads of vinegar; it made everything a tad more heavenly!
As much I love savoring the melting sensation of Foie gras, I decided to go for the Carpaccio instead and boy, I thought that was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life man! Freshly cut veal topped with grounded black pepper, omg! Speechless!Psst: the reason why I was willing to opt for Carpaccio over Foie gras was because GS agreed to trade a mouthful of his Foie gras for a slice of my veal… this way, we can both taste those 2 fantastic appetizers with no regrets! Lolx.

Not forgetting that our Wine Manager’s choice of white wine to go with the entrée was excellent! Shaw Smith’s Chardonnay and Margret River’s Sauvignon Blanc, smooth and aromatic!

Next, the 4 of us (GS, BW, IEM and I) had the same dish; Tenderloin Steak! Yummy Yummy! It so goes well with the red wine that IEM chose, Margret River’s Pinot Noir.
Steak was nicely done up accordingly to our preference; Medium rare.

Last but not least, dessert and coffee to wrap things up! When it comes to desserts, I am always spoilt for choices lah!
A picture tells a thousand words; hence I shall stop here and let you enjoy salivating over the pictures! =P
