I am so irritated and annoyed by people who keep telling me that they are old already when they are only in their mid towards late 20s. WTF? What do I call a 70 year old man then??? Young?

Personally, I think mid 20s – late 30s is the peak of the life. As a teen, you can’t really do much; no career no money, depend on parents for allowance and a roof over the head. In the 20s, you start to build your career, not financially stable yet but at least you reach the legal drinking, smoking & clubbing age. At 30s, finance is more stable and majority will own a car license. You get to fulfill your dream and plan for yourself. So what the fuck is old when you are only 25yrs old? Classic examples I encountered:

Huh? Go diving? I too old for that la… I 35 already lei…
In my mind: fuck u la… 35 is considered as old? den pls go check yourself into a coffin and 等死! I’m not asking to go for somersault class lei.

Study? How to? Me reaching 40s lei.. The knowledge just cant get into my mind la..
In my mind: shit you. Then stop complaining on why you never get a chance to be promoted. Cos you never bother to upgrade yourself. Tooooo old to get promoted anyway. Since its always TOOOOO OLD for anything.

I must get married by the age of 25. Cos ah, after 25 is very old already.
Me: Never get married for the sake of getting married. To me, at the age of 25 is the time to enjoy freedom, not commitment.

Is ‘old’ a usual excuse to reject people? Come on la, what century are we in now? Just say “sorry I am not interested” which is short, simple and clear. Just admit it if you are lazy, don’t say too old for this or that. Even an ah ma at the age of 80 is still going for her driving test, what the fuck is 25/35/45 years old? Huh huh huh? 活到老学到老!

It’s never too old for anything you are interested in. Unless you’re talking about the extreme.
