I am blogging with Microsoft word in office now because I don’t wana look too obvious doing ‘illegal’ thing. Haha! So today’s post is cut and paste from my word document. Hee hee.
I am sure most of the residents in Spore has heard of St. Regis, the new ‘prestigious’ (I will explain why I ‘bracket’ it later) hotel in town. Colleagues and I (total 6 of us for the 1st batch) were invited to go over for a site inspection and a dinner, thinking that it will be a good experience I went. Boy! I was so wrong; this is the WORST hotel inspection I have attended.
The sales director (ya, this someone with lousy PR skill is a director ok?) who is in charge of our account is SL. She seems to be in her mid 40s with thick make up, ugly eye shadow and fake smiles. Hey, no matter how many times you smile to us, we can still sense that it is a Fake one. Hypocrite!
Firstly, she made us, THE CUSTOMER waited for 15mins just because she is in a meeting. She agreed to meet us at 6pm, so she should have scheduled her meeting to end before the said time! We encountered the same thing at Raffles Hotel the other time, but at least the sales person got her assistant to treat us drinks at the bar while waiting. Make us feel good and we shut up, tio bo? Hrmpf! FYI, We never waited more then 5mins for the sales person to greet us when we reach the other hotels.
We then told each other that it is ok; let’s try to be understanding even though we knew she is trying to 耍打牌 because it is tooooo obvious. We waited at the lobby all along before she finally came over to greet us.
The lobby – so-so nia. Not grand nor beautiful. Lose to Shangri-la.
The room - It's really gorgeous, but i still prefer Ritz Carlton's.

Cosy mood lighting in the room, you can change the 'mood' of the lighting.

Couch in the room.. nice hor?

The coolest thing in the bathroom is the tv in a mirror. Cool~
P/s: my camera phone sucks la.. so its blur and the lighting of the picture is bad too.
After viewing the rooms, function rooms, spa facilities and swimming pool, we went to the duno what ahchipalia restaurant... i was hoping to go Yan Ting for dinner but i think she cannot afford to entertain us there la....
Also for the first time, we were not offered any drinks for dinner.... we had only ice water throughout and tea after dessert. -_-"
As for the food.... worst then a buffet restaurant loh. She order 4 pizzas to share and mind you, all the 4 pizzas are of the same!!! Duh.... Furthermore, it is topped with beef slices and she didn’t even bother to check if there is anyone who cannot take beef. Nothing nice during the dinner at all. The worst is her attitude and replies to us which were very annoying.. i shall narrate it here in dialogue form.
SL: (asking one by one) What dept are you from? How many meeting is usually held?
When Jen and I replied that we were from Corporate Division (I am from Legal and Jen is from HR), she immediately skipped us and went on to the next colleague. We felt upset and angry at the same time. Why? A corporate division has got no guest visits or no meeting? I booked at least 20 rooms for 2 nights each at Pan-Pacific Hotel in December, 5 rooms at Marina Mandarin and another 5 rooms at M Hotel. Although it is not a lot as compared to the business units, but at least I am also a customer and a guest wad. Argh.
SL: Oh i will send a Bentley over to fetch your guest over. Btw, do you know how does a Bently looks like?
Rest of us: -______________________-" *speechless*
Deep in my heart: Yeh of cos we know la, you think Mitsui is a tiny weeny little company and the staffs are sua ku ah? Nowadays TAXI also got Bently la.. u think we dont watch news, read the papers or surf internet de meh? Pui pui pui.
